How Does Closed Cooling Tower Realize Waste Heat Recycling

Have you really understood the role of closed cooling towers? In fact, the closed cooling tower exchanges the cooling water with waste heat with the air in the tower to realize the transmission of waste heat.

It is based on this principle that the closed cooling tower can also realize the recovery and utilization of waste heat. How is it realized? Next, I will share with you.

Take the boiler heating water as an example. After the water is heated, a relatively high-temperature high-pressure steam is formed, which then drives the steam turbine to generate electricity. Then the exhaust gas is discharged into the condenser, and with the help of the closed cooling tower, the exhaust gas is turned into water and returned to the boiler for recycling.

In this process, waste heat will be transferred to the cooling water in the closed cooling tower, causing the temperature of the water to rise. At the same time, the large amount of heat generated above can also be transferred to the air, so if other equipment is configured, it may have a greater effect.

The closed cooling tower can reduce the water temperature through the heat conduction of circulating cooling water and cold and dry air combined with the evaporation of circulating cooling water. In other words, when the closed cooling tower is running, it needs to have a certain pressure cycle.

In this state, after the cooling water enters the closed cooling tower through the water inlet pipe, it will be atomized by the swirling spray of the atomizer of the cooling tower, and finally form mist and spray it towards the top of the tower. At the same time, the reverse thrust generated by the cooling tower will drive the automatic rotating device to rotate, so that the entire atomized water fills the entire tower.
