Why Evaporative Condenser Can Achieve Energy Saving
The evaporative condenser uses a mixture of water and air as the cooling medium, and the latent heat of condensation released by the condensation process of high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerants mainly depends on the evaporative absorption heat of the cooling water.
Generally speaking, in a water-cooled condenser, the temperature rise of the cooling water is generally Δtw = 2~6 ℃, and every 1 kg of water can take away 8~25 kJ of heat. The heat absorption and evaporation of 1 kg of water can take away 2 450 kJ of latent heat, which makes the water consumption of the evaporative condenser in operation can be 1% of the water consumption of the water-cooled condenser.
In fact, due to blowing loss, sewage and water exchange, the actual water consumption of Evaporative condensers is about 5%-10% of that of general water-cooled condensers , which significantly saves water consumption. As the evaporative condenser reduces the pressure and flow of the water pump, the power consumption of the water pump is only 1/4 of the cooling tower system.
In addition, the evaporative condenser has only one-stage heat transfer temperature difference for the refrigeration system, and the condensation temperature of the refrigerant in the evaporative condenser is directly related to the meteorological parameters of the environment.
According to the degree of perfect heat and moisture exchange, the condensing temperature is generally 5-10℃ higher than the wet bulb temperature of the air. The condensing temperature of the evaporative condenser is about 8-11℃ lower than that of the air-cooled condenser, which is higher than that of the water-cooled condenser. 3~5 ℃ lower. The reduction of the condensation temperature improves the refrigeration efficiency of the refrigeration compressor and reduces the energy consumption of the compressor. The decrease in condensing pressure extends the service life of the compressor and reduces the maintenance cost of the unit.
