Factors Affecting The Evaporation Temperature Of Refrigeration Equipment In Cold Storage

The change of evaporating temperature of cold storage refrigeration equipment is related to the heat load of the warehouse, the heat transfer area of the evaporator, and the volume of the compressor. When one of these three conditions changes, the evaporation temperature and pressure of the refrigeration system will inevitably change.

1.The thermal load of the warehouse:  The change of the thermal load occurs frequently. When the heat load increases and other conditions remain unchanged, the evaporation temperature will increase, the low pressure pressure will increase, and the superheat of the suction will increase.

2.Evaporator heat transfer area:  refers to the evaporation area of the evaporator. The increase or decrease of the evaporation area has basically the same effect on the evaporation temperature as the increase or decrease of the heat load. When the evaporation area increases, the evaporation temperature will increase; when the evaporation area decreases, the evaporation temperature will decrease.

3.Compressor volume: The compressor volume is the change in refrigeration capacity. When the energy of the refrigeration compressor is increased, the suction volume of the compressor will increase accordingly. Under other conditions unchanged, the high pressure will increase and the low pressure will decrease. , The evaporation temperature will also decrease.

Therefore, as long as these conditions are changed to make them adapt to each other, the evaporation temperature of the system can be reasonably controlled and adjusted. Generally speaking, every 1℃ increase in the evaporation temperature of the cold storage can save energy by 2%-2.5%. Therefore, under the premise that the product refrigeration process can be satisfied, the evaporation temperature can be increased as much as possible by adjusting the liquid supply.
