Cooling Tower Drift Eliminator Introduction

Cooling Tower Drift Eliminator, made out of rigid PVC, are designed to remove entrained particles from air steam efficiently, with minimum pressure drop, thereby reducing the fan power requirement when the air passes through the Drift Eliminator. Water droplets are separated from the air drift at the three direction change points on the drift eliminator.

Cooling Tower Drift Eliminator Features

• Significantly block sunlight (70:1 light reduction) to reduce algae growth on interior surfaces of the cooling tower system, thus reducing the cost of algae-removal chemicals and labor.

• Reduces noise leaving the tower through the louver modules by approximately three decibels.

• Achieves very low pressure drop results.

• Pre-assembled modules available in a variety of lengths.

• Optional Assembly frames made of extruded PVC available for easy installation and access for cleaning and maintenance.

• Rigid, UV-stabilized PVC meets Cooling Technology Institute Standard 136.
